Communication Teams from all around the world

In the last several years, a new movement has been birthed within the larger movement of YWAM. We believe that if we are to be truly effective in sharing the "Good News" to the ends of the earth, then we need to improve our communication within YWAM. Both people on the grassroots and those in leadership have felt the need growing. These events, and the work we do throughout the year, are our attempt to help heal our "nervous system". We want to see YWAMers communicating more effectively both within YWAM and outside of our YWAM family. These CRIT events are organized by the Global Communication Forum (GCF), the International Chairman's Team (ICT) and the International Communications Network (ICN), global communicators who have a passion to see communication grow and flow in YWAM.

Cultural Insights information about your stay in Jordan

Entering Jordan

Visas – most nationalities can obtain a visa upon arrival at the airport. Please go to Visit Jordan to see if you need to obtain a visa before arrival. Visas purchased at the airport cost around $30 USD. There is a small bank where you can exchange money if needed, however, it is easiest to come with this in USD already. You will be purchasing a TOURIST VISA. If they ask where you are staying tell them the name of your accommodation.

What to Bring

Money in Jordan

At the airport there are exchange counters and ATMs. Due to the location of the conference, it may be best to exchange your money at the airport.  There are ATMs readily available throughout Jordan, though we may not be close to any.

Clothes for Jordan in July

As the majority of people in Jordan are Muslim, please bring conservative clothing for traveling around the country (excursions into the city, a trip to the Dead Sea, etc.). It will be hot, so we recommend light pants/skirts and tops. At the conference center you can be a little more relaxed and dress appropriately in order to survive the heat.
